Ingredients:
- 6-8 deseeded dates
- 10 pcs cashew nuts (cut into 2)
- 10 pcs almonds (cut into 2)
- 8 pcs pistachios
- 2tsp sesame seeds
- 1tsp flax seeds
- 2tbsp oats (roasted and powdered)
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Preparation Method:
- Soak the dates in hot water for an hour and blend to a smooth paste (water should just soak the dates).
- Roast the cashews, almonds and pista for a while and then add the sesame seeds and flax seeds. Continue to roast on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Move the roasted nuts and seeds to a separate bowl and keep aside.
- Add the dates paste and cook for 5 minutes
- Add the roasted nuts and seeds, cardamom powder and salt.
- Add the powdered oats and keep mixing till all the water is absorbed
- Transfer the mixture into another greased flat dish and refrigerate for an hour.
- Make small balls out of the mixture and serve.
